Jenfab was the first in the industry to design an build the Vertical Agitation (VA) parts washer. It is ideal for both in-line cleaning or as a standalone cellular system.

These washers clean by dipping or rotating parts in various cleaning solutions and using one or more aqueous cleaning and rinse tanks. The best cleaning results are obtained when both the parts and solution are agitated. This action purges the parts with solution and is ideal for removing oils, chips, buffing and lapping compounds and grinding swarth. Ultrasonics can also be added to meet precision part cleaning requirements.

The VA system is fully automated and designed to process standard or custom sized baskets. It is available with multiple tanks for aqueous cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning, rinsing, rust proofing and drying. Environmentally safe aqueous cleaning solutions allow the system to eliminate tons of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) per year yet, clean better than solvent based systems.

These machines are best used for cleaning aircraft and automotive engine components, screw machine parts, automotive parts, medical device cleaning including orthopedic implant cleaning, fine blanking and aerospace components.

MODELS

Vertical agitation with basket rotation produces the best possible action for cleaning cup shaped parts, blind holed parts and machined parts with complex geometries. As baskets rotate they are plunged into a solution by the vertical agitation mechanism. This fills all blind holes and passages in complex shaped parts such as hydraulic valve bodies and screw machine parts. Chips and oils are continuously flushed away as the parts are filled with solution, emptied and refilled.

Baskets are raised and rotated to drain solution before being transferred to the next tank. This drain cycle reduces chemical costs and prolongs bath life. Rinse water usage is minimized and, with the use of multiple rinse tanks, the aqueous parts washer operates with near zero discharge.

Automated hoist cleaning systems provide efficient processing of parts on a continuous basis. The system works by moving parts through a series of tanks in which they are immersed and agitated in cleaning solution to loosen and remove soils. Drying is achieved with a high pressure blow-off or energy efficient, recirculating convection dryer for maximum drying in half the time of standard dryers. This system can be fully customized according to customer specifications.

The programmable hoist requires no operator for loading or unloading and automatically advances baskets or parts carriers from tank to tank. Standard cantilevered systems are available in 100 lb., 300 lb., and 500 lb. capacities. Gantry models for 1,000 pounds and up are also available. The hoist can be adapted to handle most existing baskets or custom baskets and fixtures can be designed for special requirements. These systems are perfect for use in the aerospace, biomedical, automotive and re-manufacturing industries.

The vertical agitation ultrasonic parts washers combine aqueous cleaning technology with ultrasonics to meet precision cleaning  requirements. These systems are ideal for cleaning aircraft engine components, brake components and precision bearings.

The system is fully enclosed with polished, stainless steel panels and comes with easy access openings for routine maintenance. These machines are shipped in one piece for ease of installation with single point connections for all utilities.

Available options include basket rotation in each tank, submerged spray under solution and ultrasonic cleaning. Drying is accomplished with a recirculating air system that reduces energy consumption and cuts drying time in half. Spot free drying and HEPA air filtration are also available.
