Rotary Drum Wash Systems

Jenfab Rotary Drum Wash Systems are the optimal machine when high volumes of small, non-delicate parts require cleaning and drying. A unique process drum design with solid and perforated sections allows for parts to be fully immersed in cleaning solution, fully flushing blind holes. Rotary drum units can be continuously fed (think directly off a cold header or stamping press) or batch fed via material handling such as bin dumpers and vibratory feeders. A helical drum conveys parts through wash, rinse, RP, dephos, pickling, passivating, and drying stages as required.

Benefits of Rotary Drum Wash Systems

Exceptional Processing Capacity

Capable of fully processing volumes up to 400 cubic feet per hour for demanding production environments

Advanced Drum Design

Continuously welded helix construction minimizes the risk of parts becoming lodged during processing

Ideal for Small-Part Production

Perfect for cleaning and drying high volumes of fasteners, stampings, ammunition casings, and similar components

Large-Diameter Drum Capability

Drum diameters up to 60″ accommodate fasteners and parts up to 18″ in length

Unlimited Stage Flexibility

Configurable with virtually any number of processing stages to meet specific cleaning and drying requirements

Continuous High-Volume Operation

Continuous-flow design ensures efficient processing of large product volumes with minimal interruption

Dual Drum Rotary Parts Washer

Get two machines in one. Dual drum parts washers cost less to operate and maintain than two separate systems. These stainless steel parts washers share tanks, heating systems, pumps and dryers. Separate drives allow the drums to operate at different speeds, and each drum can be customized for a unique purpose. Running two types of parts at once reduces overall process time.

Two rows of high-impact V-Jet nozzles clean parts faster at lower temperatures while taking up 30% less floor space.

Cleans more parts per hour than other systems and prevents part mixing.

Recirculating dryer uses up to 75% less energy and completely dries parts, including those with blind holes.

Special design prevents machine from damaging delicate parts or exterior threads.

Optional Equipment

Rigidized material and wedgewire drum construction

Load cones for gentle part loading

Marine type tank clean-out doors

Polished stainless steel exterior

Coalescing oil removal system

Wastewater minimization systems, including UF, RO and evaporation technology

Automatic parts loading systems

Automatic chemical feed systems

Rotary Cob Meal Drum Drying System

Dry parts in bulk. With a rotary cob dryer, parts automatically advance as the drum rotates, allowing large quantities to be effectively dried. Its closed-loop design ensures the drying media is reused as dry parts exit the unload end of the drum. The heated corn cob drying media rapidly absorbs moisture from components and slightly burnished parts, which improves luster. The moisture is removed from the media so that it can be reused.

Parts gently tumble with drying media to expose all edges and surfaces.

Drum’s RPM moves parts and media forward at a constant rate.

Drum within a drum design passes corn cob media from the inner drum to the outer drum, separating it from dry parts.

The outer drum is a reverse helix that draws the drying media through a heat zone to evaporate moisture for reuse.

Electric heat system shuts off when the drum stops to eliminate fire risk.

Optional Equipment

Vibratory feeder

Hopper style feeder

Belt conveyor
